Dental Services
A healthy smile reflects general well-being, and yet many do not have access to dental care. This section highlights organizations that aim to expand access to dental services.

University of Alberta Oral Health Clinic
A teaching clinic that charges affordable rates and does not require a health care number. Operates out of the Kaye Edmonton Clinic, 11400 University Ave, 8th floor.

Radius Community Health & Healing - SHINE Dental Clinic
Offers a free dental clinic most Saturday mornings, by appointment. The clinic is run by the voluntary, student-run organization SHINE (Student Health Initiative for the Needs of Edmonton).
Mental Health
Adapting to a new environment and facing the challenges of migration can have an impact on our mental and emotional health. There are several psychological service providers who offer a safe and professional space to address any concerns or difficulties you may be experiencing. Their experience and understanding will give you tools to work on mental health.
Multicultural Health Brokers
Offers free mental health counselling services for undocumented people. Sessions are held online or in Edmonton (9538-107 Avenue). Some personal information is required, but not immigration documents. Contact MHHB for more information.

Momentum Counselling Society
​Offers counselling services using a sliding scale based on monthly income, but will not turn away anyone who needs care. Sessions are held online or in Edmonton (#132 6325 Gateway Blvd Edmonton). Care Work
Many migrant workers provide needed care labour, often in their employers' homes. Researchers, often in collaboration with community and activist groups, have been exploring the realities facing migrant care workers and developing policy recommendations.

The CERC in Migration and Integration program at Toronto Metropolitan University has published scholarly works and policy briefs related to migrant care work.
The Migrant Care Workers Precarity Project from Understanding Precarity in BC has published resources focused on migrant care labour, including a report on ten years of policies.
